所感
同じ道での経験を積み重ねてくると、自分の脳力に過信したり、極端に卑下したり、することがある。相手との比較で自分の位置を意識しすぎて、自分の本来の道からそれてしまうこともある。キャリアデザインを考える時に、ある時点で、自らの進むべき道を選択して、その後は、昨日より、今日、今日より明日と、一日一日の自己の成長を謙虚に積み重ねていくことが大切だと思う。私自身も人事という領域を、大学の専攻（労使関係 Industrial Relations）の勉強から始まった。19還暦を超えた今でも、この人事の勉強と仕事を続けて、もう４０年以上になる。この言葉は剣術の話でもあるが、自分の職業への問いかけとして、胸に響く。
私が、前職で、30歳ころの時に本社勤務になり、当時の人事担当役員に人事を担う者にとってよい専門書を紹介して欲しいと話したところ、その役員は、「池波正太郎の時代小説、特に、鬼平、剣客商売、藤枝梅安をまず読むことだな」と話してくれた。良い専門性を推薦してくれるのかと思っていた私にとって、きょとんとした原風景が今も脳裏を離れない。

My personal impressions and comments：
As you gain experience in the same academic or career field, you may become overconfident or undervalue your own abilities.
You may become too aware of your position in comparison to others, and stray from your original path.
When considering your career design, I think it is important to choose the path you should take at a certain point, and then, from today onwards, to continue to grow as an individual day by day, honestly and humbly.
I started in the field of human resources by studying my university major (industrial relations). I have continued to study and work in the field of human resources for over 40 years, even after turning 60.
This phrase is also the secret of a swordsman who has mastered the way of the sword, but it resonates with me as a question to ask myself about my own profession.
When I was working at my previous job and was transferred to the head office when I was around 30 years old, I asked the director in charge of personnel at the time to recommend some good specialist books for those in charge of personnel, and he told me, ‘You should read the historical novels by Shotaro Ikenami, especially Onihei, Kenkakushobai and Fujieda Baian.’
I remember my confusion at the time, as I had thought he would recommend good specialists.
