所感
必ずしも直接会って語らなくとも書物をとうして人を知り、交友することができるという意味であるが、人と対面することの大切さは、変えがたいが、書籍の文字を丁寧に追いながら、相手の言わんとする意図や思想、想いを思慮したり、類推することも同じく大切なことかと思う。
一過性のはやりの書籍ではなくて、特に良質で長年、生きながらえている書物は著者の真剣な格闘の産物であると思う。
Comments：
The phrase means that we can get to know people and make friends with them through books, even if we don’t necessarily meet them in person. While it is important to meet people face to face, I think it is equally important to carefully follow the words in a book and consider or make analogies about the other person’s intentions, thoughts and feelings.
I think that books that have been around for a long time and are of particularly high quality are the product of the author’s serious struggle with their thoughts.
